These nature bracelets are super easy to do and the kids love them. They get so excited when they find something pretty for their bracelet.
Supplies needed:
- Duct tape (any color)
- Clear plastic wrap
- Hole punch
- Ribbon (any color)
Cut duct tape to wrist size. This can be fitted, as it will not have to slide over the hand when finished. There is a tutorial online to do these without hole punching and ribbon. You just tape around the arm and leave enough space to slip over the hand; but they remain very loose on the child's arm.
Wrap around child's wrist inside out (sticky side up)
Go on a nature walk and let the children explore!
Anything can become art, if something doesn't fit, pull it a part and apply them in pieces. This is a good way to teach patterns, colors textures etc.
After your nature walk, lay all bracelets on a flat clean surface. Cover tightly with clear plastic wrap and and roll flat with rolling pin. Then trim edges.
Apply two holes with hole punch to each end.
Add ribbon and your finished!
The kiddos were so proud:)
These actually last a long time! The flowers kept their color even after a month!
