~The Painted Pony~

Using this painting technique is great for all ages.

I used a foam stencil brush and acrylic paint. The original painting from Pinterest used a water color technique. I switched it up because we do a lot of watercolor paintings and  I thought this technique would be something different.

Sophia leaves room for sand at the bottom of her canvas

Miles referenced Sophia's painting and did a good job only painting sand at the bottom of his canvas:)

Kylie is very particular and takes her time so everything looks juuuuust right:)

I added grass, hooves and helped with handprints. I love letting the children have artistic freedom when creating projects. However I have noticed once the oldest starts creating the others do the same.
