~Trick or Eeeeek!!~

Well Halloween is finally here.
You should be afraid..be very afraid!!
There is a little monster running
around our farm this week

Home made kettle corn
~1/2 c. corn kernels
~1/4 c. oil (I used coconut oil for a little more flavor)
~1/4 c. sugar (use brown sugar for caramel corn)
Heat oil in large pot over medium heat. Once hot stir in the sugar.
Cover & shake the pot to keep sugar from burning.
Once the popping has slowed to every 2-3 seconds, remove from heat but continue to shake until popping has stopped. Pour in large
bowl and stir occasionally to break up large clumps.

Nathan helps glue felt pieces on his Trick-or-Treat
bag that we are making.

This is hard work Mrs. Ty...

but I can do it by my self!!

Bags were made using sewing machine
These pieces are cut and added to the front
using a basic hand stitch
(that I don't know the name of:)

This is a close up view of the basic
 stitch that I use

Used a little wool stuffing for
the monster's ears.

This is the end result after attaching
pieces to the bag.

Attached handle using wide black ribbon.

Nathan patiently waits while the final
touches are put on his bag:)
