~What's your Name?~

Not only does painting teach children creativity but it also teaches them to have an open mind. This craft stimulates a child in every way possible. From teaching colors, letters in the alphabet, coordination, and self expression. Painting is the best way to gain a life long appreciation for art and besides....
I love watching kids paint!

Decision making skills....where to paint and what color? Letter recognition....
Miles sees "His letter M"

By spinning the poster board, it gives more options for painting. Also helps cover all the white areas because well.....
that's our goal:)

Each day we add more paint and different colors.

We gently remove the tape at the end of the week after all the paint is dry. I discovered that the younger ones enjoyed playing with the sticky tape more than helping. This is great sensory play so I will definitely be incorporating tape into our next project!

Pride....

What a great craft to improve Self Esteem:)
